At Contractors Choice, our goal is to streamline your window and door projects, save you time, and secure the best value. Our fee structure is designed to be transparent and align with the progression of your project.

Here's how our program works:

We begin by offering a one-hour complimentary consultation. During this session, we'll delve deeper into how our comprehensive program operates, outlining the specific benefits you can expect from our expert consulting and project management services. This is an opportunity for us to understand your overarching project goals and for you to fully grasp our value proposition, with no obligation.

Following the initial free consultation, should you choose to proceed, a retainer deposit of $600.00 (equivalent to 8 billable hours at $75.00 per hour) is collected upon execution of the Service Agreement. This retainer initiates our in-depth process, which includes:

• Detailed Needs Identification: Collaborating with you to precisely identify your product and service requirements for windows and doors.
• Budget & Finance Review: Understanding your budgetary constraints and financial considerations.
• Timeline Development: Establishing a realistic project timeline.
• Relationship Assessment: Documenting any existing relationships you may have with contractors, developers, or other industry professionals.
• Preference Integration: Incorporating any specific manufacturer or product preferences you may have.

This phase is crucial for developing a tailored strategy that ensures we align you with the ideal resources.

Once the above milestones have been thoroughly addressed and you are ready to move forward, our ultimate objective is to facilitate a seamless transition to project execution. Upon the signing of the contractor/product provider/work execution agreement for your selected project team, Pro Contractors Choice will collect an additional negotiated percentage of the total contract amount as our comprehensive project consultant fee.

This fee covers our ongoing project management, oversight, and advocacy throughout the execution phase, ensuring the quality completion of your project and upholding its integrity.

The following items and services are expressly excluded from the standard scope of consulting and project management services defined in the Service Agreement and are not covered by the Retainer or the Project Consultant Fee:

1. Cost of Goods and Installation Labor: The additional negotiated Project Consultant Fee explicitly excludes the actual cost of windows, doors, related materials, and the labor/subcontractor costs associated with the physical installation and construction work. These costs are paid directly to the selected contractor/product provider.
2. Product or Installation Warranties: Liability for product manufacturing defects, installation errors, or any warranty claims related to the physical work performed by the third-party contractor. The service provider acts only as a project consultant and does not hold the product or installation warranty.
3. Permitting, Inspection, and Regulatory Fees: Any fees or costs imposed by local, state, or federal agencies for permits, licenses, inspections, or zoning approval necessary for project completion.
4. Major Architectural or Structural Engineering Services: Detailed architectural drawings, stamped structural engineering reports, or services required to determine the structural integrity or load-bearing requirements beyond standard construction plans and manufacturer specifications.
5. Project Scope Changes Post-Execution: Consulting time or project management necessitated by major changes to the project scope requested by the Client after the contractor/product provider agreement has been signed (see Section 4.1).

Any service requirements falling outside the scope detailed in the Service Agreement and not listed as an exclusion will be considered "Out-of-Scope Services" and will be billed to the Client at the rate of $75.00 per hour, or a mutually negotiated flat rate amount agreed upon in writing before the commencement of the work.
